| Position Summary: The Programmer is an individual contributor within a team, responsible for programming, testing, documentation, and deployment of software for internal and web applications. The Programmer may also be responsible for individual projects as assigned. |

Principal Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a cross-functional team to understand business needs, develop and refine requirements and design and develop software to meet business objectives.
- Demonstrate understanding of professional software engineering processes to ensure successful deliveries.
- Analyze, modify and maintain moderately complex processes and code.
- Code, deploy, and maintain applications under supervision of senior staff.
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements/Skill Specifications:
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or related discipline or experience equivalent.
Experience:
- Experience with several major modern computer languages/platforms. Preferred are: Java, Cold Fusion (or other web development platforms), SQL, CSS, Dynamic web programming (JavaScript, AJAX).
- Strong background in Object-Oriented programming techniques.
- Familiarity with database concepts a plus.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills

- In-depth knowledge of O-O programming concepts and methods
- Willingness to learn new languages/platforms as needed
