Moxa's EDS-608 series are cost-effective compact modular managed switches that allow users to install up to 8 fast Ethernet ports through various 4-port copper and/or fiber interface modules to create tailored switch solutions that best suit your automation network.

Advanced Proprietary Turbo Ring™ and Turbo Chain™ technology (with fault recovery under 20 ms) and RSTP/STP (IEEE 802.1w/D) increases the reliability and availability of your industrial Ethernet network. Several reliable and intelligent functions such as IEEE 1588 PTP, Modbus/TCP, LLDP, DHCP Option 82, SNMP Inform, QoS, IGMP snooping, VLAN, IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS, SSH, and SNMPv3 are supported to make the EDS-608 series suitable for mission-critical industrial applications.

With its compact yet rugged industrial design, the EDS-608 rugged switch series is an excellent choice for solutions that require long-lasting reliability, wide operating temperatures of -40 to 75˚C, and long-haul fiber connectivity. In addition, the switch's compact size allows users to conserve valuable space, making the EDS ideal for space-critical applications.
