• Incorporates a maintenance forecast monitor that displays the remaining life of the power supply, displayed in years. • Run-time monitor model displays how long the output has been on, displayed in thousands of hours. • 15 and 30 W models have 22.5 mm width, which saves panel space. • 60, 90, 120, 180 and 240 W models have LED Displays. • 90, 120, 180 and 240 W LED models have two outputs; one for undervoltage output and one for either the lifetime monitor or run-time monitor. • All models are Lead-free.
Get the latest tools to prevent downtime by predicting failure of a panel's power supply. New compact S8VS power supplies turn on a signal output to a controller based on estimated remaining service life or the number of hours a connected load has been operating. Control Maintenance Schedules use the signal output as an early warning output to schedule maintenance before the power supply turns into a source of unplanned downtime. The 90-watt models provide outputs for under-voltage and either lifetime monitor or run time monitor in addition to an LED display. The 60-watt models offer an LED display only
Monitor Your Operation: The Lifetime Monitor is based on a 15-year service life of the electrolytic capacity, and an algorithm continuously estimates how much service life remains. Due to temperature and load conditions, the service life may vary. The Lifetime monitor is ideal for panels controlling mission- critical aspects of production such as those powering PLCs, motion controllers and DeviceNet networks. The Run Time Monitor, calibrated in thousands of hours, displays how long a load device connected to the power supply has been operating. However, the service alert display and output helps you diagnose a panel quickly, should a failure take place. The Run Time monitor is ideal for tracking the power supply's time-in-use with pumps, motors, fans and solenoid valves. When the monitor time is up, it's time to service the device
Great Value in a Power Supply! Omron stands behind the workmanship and reliability of its S8VS power supplies with a 3-year warranty. The S8VS series meets important standards to simplify machine certification prior to commissioning: • UL508 listing allows S8VS to used at full power rating • 60-watt models offer UL508, Class 2 rating—considered a "safe power source" by inspectors. The output is limited to 4.1666 amps at 24 VDC to prevent fire hazards caused by use of thin wires in the installation. • Conforms to CE to simplify machine export • Meets latest EN standards for DIN track mounted controls, including location of terminals for supply voltage input (top) and output voltage (bottom). Slim track-mount design saves space in your panel
