Ultrasonic cleaning is not for removal of heavy soils, stains or debris. It is used when a part "looks clean", but still does not quite make the needed cleanliness spec level. It works best when parts are uniform in like batches and are positioned in a specific orientation within a properly designed cleaning basket.
