The keypad is menu driven.
For a speed control application the following parameters need to be configured using simple step-by-step instructions through the keypad:
Motor Parameters (taken from motor nameplate)
ID 111 – Nominal Current of motor IN
ID 113 – Maximum speed for system
ID 116 – Motor encoder resolution
ID 32771 – Nominal Torque MN
ID 32772 – Nominal Speed nN
ID 32774 – Rotor time constant TR
ID 32775 – Number of Motor Poles
ID 32776 – Encoder pulses per revolution
ID 32953 – Encoder type
Torque Parameters
ID 82 – Positive Torque limit
ID 83 – Negative Torque limit
Speed Parameters
ID 32778 – Speed related to 10 volts at input A1. Enter value that the motor should run when 10 volts is applied.
Power system down to write parameters into memory
Energize Motor
1. Main Power On and Drive Enable
2. Apply analog voltage at A1 for motor movement
3. Finished and ready to run
