APEM's FM series lighted or unlighted rocker switches feature improved moisture resistance. Their double shell case design provides an external path for liquids entering around the actuator that directs the moisture away from the inner case and the contact mechanism. Additional protection is also available with the optional translucent PVC actuator boot, if needed.

These SPST and DPDT models snap-fit securely into an international standard panel cutout 13 x 19 mm (approx. 1/2" x 3/4") and allow for close adjacent mounting with their 15 x 21 mm (approx. .590" x .827") bezel size. These ergonomically designed switches feature a black bezel (other colors available) and several optional actuator color choices. The judicious location of the lens on the illuminated models enables easy viewing from either the front or side.

Although small in size, the FM models have impressive power performance specifications. Resistive ratings for these maintained and momentary models are 10 amps at 125 VAC and 6 amps at 250 VAC. They are also 'T' rated for 6 amp at 250 VAC and horsepower rated up to 1/8 horsepower. 4 electrical configurations are offered that include; ON - OFF, OFF - MOM, ON - ON and ON OFF ON. Lighted models are available with either a 250V neon or fluorescent lamp. Their operating temperature range is –20°C to 85°C with an electrical life of 10,000 cycles at full load and a mechanical life of 50,000 cycles minimum.

All FM models have silver contacts and a choice of solder lug, quick-connect or straight printed circuit terminals. Several standard actuator markings are also optional, if desired.
