APM’s Sealing Boots Protect

APM’s Sealing Boots Protect

APM's sealing boots are designed to protect you circuit breakers from hostile environments without compromising, or interfering with, the breaker's basic operation. Each is made of a tough, high tear-strength silicone rubber compound formulated for the variety of circuit breaker actuator styles.

Lever, rocker and pushbutton-actuated breaker boots are made from APM's proprietary RUBRGLAS™ … a transparent silicone rubber which won't yellow or discolor. Toggle-actuated breaker boots are made from black or gray silicone rubber.

Toggle and pushbutton-actuated breaker boots feature a molded-in hex or round nut, thus serving as both a reliable seal and mechanical mounting. In addition, all circuit breaker boots feature an integral, proprietary sealing rib, which serves to seal the panel cutout in which the breaker is mounted.

These durable and flexible boots seal out dust, dirt and moisture without compromising breaker tripping, manual operation, or position status viewing and each remains flexible over a wide operating temperature range … with many units rated at –94° F to 400° F.
