APM HEXSEAL is pleased to announce the availability of their complete Spectrum Color Program making it possible to order any color, including non-color transparent for illuminated switches and switch and circuit breaker silicone rubber boots. These toggle, pushbutton, rotary and rocker style actuator style boots can be supplied in virtually any color to match a specific panel color, or to indicate a desired equipment function. All that is required is a PMS color specification. Stainless-steel armored boots for rugged applications are available in natural stainless steel color.

Because the silicone rubber is bonded onto the exterior of the switch mounting nut — 100% color coverage is achieved. NO separate mounting nut is exposed. More color coverage makes it easier to identify desired functions where panel illumination may be less than ideal -- thereby reducing the possibility of mistakes.

The OEM gets the exact colors they need to match the panel color or connote function, as compared to what some switch imports offer — limited colored boots. The result is the freedom to select an optimum combination of a precision switch and a precise colored precision boot.”

These NEMA 4X/6P and IEC IP66/IP68 sealing boots are colorfast with a shelf life in excess of 25 years.They are the only colored boots that are UL Recognized and meet CSA Standards. Designed in accordance with MIL-B-5423 for operation in extreme hostile environments where operating temperatures can range from -94°F to +400°F (-70°C to 204°C) and are RoHS compliant. Most boots can also be ordered with EMI/RFI suppression capabilities.
