WDI's Auto-Focus Actuator System (AFA-01) has been specifically designed to provide motorized Z actuation for Navitar zoom microscopes. It mounts directly onto Navitar's Optical Interface module and is compatible with x6 and x12 zoom systems, both manual and motorized.
The AFA-01 is integrated with Navitar's optical interface (Navitar P/N: 1-5175212X). The base Auto-Focus Actuator (AFA-01) system includes the following components:

Laser Auto-Focus Sensor ATF

Integrated White LED field light illuminator WLED

Zoom stage motor controller MCZ

Optionally, WDI may provide:

  • A back light LED illuminator with the controller
  • Navitar zoom lens according to user's choice
  • CCD camera according to the customer's specification
  • Complete payload alignment, so that it is ready to use straight from the box
