The Personal AirTest Monitor (PM2200) is an affordable, air quality indicator provides the functionality of desktop clock and calendar with a continuous indication of three of the most important indicators of indoor environmental quality: carbon dioxide, humidity and temperature. CO2 is a recommended measurement parameter in green buildings. The Personal AirTest Monitor requires no maintenance or calibration and uses advanced sensor technology, previously only available in professional air quality diagnostic equipment.
Key Features
Displays CO2 in ppm and provides indication if the CO2 concentration means good, normal or poor air quality. CO2 is a common air quality measurement to determine if spaces are properly ventilated. When CO2 levels are high it is likely that other pollutants in the air will also be high.
CO2 sensor is self calibrating and does not need maintenance.
Provides an audible sound if CO2 level are unusually high, which may indicate excessive combustion fumes in the space or very poor ventilation
Displays % RH and provides an audible alert if concentrations are higher than normally recommended for indoor spaces.
Displays Temperature in ºF or ºC
The PM2200 only provides a display of concentrations it does not provide an output that can be read by a control system of data logger.
Applications
Monitor air quality in your home or office.
Check outside levels of CO2 considered indicative of global warming.
Professionals can use this device as a low cost screening tool to assess ventilation and humidity levels in a space. Also ideal as a customer thank you or promotional gift
Can be used to determine potential energy savings possible by retrofitting with permanently installed CO2 sensors to control outside ventilation in commercial buildings.
Educational tool for school courses and projects associated with green, sustainable buildings and energy savings initiatives.
