MaxFlo® Rice Hull Ash Technology

MaxFlo® is a highly efficient Rice Hull Ash (RHA) filter aid product with certain adsorption and ion exchanging

properties. It is a porous amorphous silica material produced from combustion of rice hulls during power

generation process. The particles are rigid, irregular shaped with "micro filter" porous structure as shown. Due to its "micro filter" structure and unique physical, chemical and surface properties, MaxFlo® has been successfully used as a filter media or filter aid in numerous water and wastewater treatment applications.
