HT panels are mad with a three ply polyester media design. The upstream layer consists of coarser fibers with a more open structure followed by a denser layer of finer fibers for greater depth loading. The downstream layer is a needled media forming a final barrier to catch dirt particles. The layers of media are sewn around an internal wire frame to support the filer. The media outside the wire frame serves as a built in gasket to seal the filter in the frame or side access track. No latches are required. The media is applied with a pressure sensitive tack to retain dirt particles.
