Airbrasive© Micro Abrasive Blasting Technology

Airbrasive Micro Blasting Machining is an effective way to cut, abrade, deburr, deflash, etch, drill and restore a variety of materials. Airbrasive Jet Machining are pneumatic devices powered by forced air. Applications are made possible as the forced air joins with a very fine powder in the attached pressure chamber and a powerful abrasive mixture is produced. The abrasive mixture is then sent through the hand piece and nozzle creating a precise abrasive stream.

About S. S. White Technologies:

S. S. White Technologies has been innovating Airbrasive® Micro Abrasive Blasting Machines since 1948. With its roots in S. S. White's century old dental drilling business, Airbrasive® jet machinery has a long history of technological innovation behind it. In 1844, Dr. Samuel Stockton White invented the first, high-speed dental drill.

While S. S. White remained the leader in the dental market for over a century, by the 1950's competition had grown substantially. As a result, new technology was being brought to market much more rapidly. It was in this climate of innovation that S. S. White produced the Airbrasive® jet machine.

Initially marketed to dentists as a dental drill, S. S. White quickly realized that its product could be useful not only to the dental market but to various other industries, trades and crafts as well. Once again the entrepreneurial spirit that had for over a century led S. S. White to success, enabled the company to anticipate the needs of its customers and satisfy the needs of craftsmen in various industries with its "tool of all trades".
