AKON manufactures a line of TTL-controlled step attenuators that are accurate over the 1.0 GHz to 18.0 GHz range, from -40° to +71°C, packaged in epoxy or optional hermetically sealed units with SMA(F) RFconnectors. Several models are available which provide attenuation up to 60 dB with single-ended TTL control - up to 8 bits. The performance of AKON's digitally controlled attenuators is superior to other models offered in the market, offering very flat attenuation over the entire band regardless of attenuation setting within -40° to +71°C. AKON uses a proprietary approach to cascading attenuation that results in ultra-flat response ata high attenuation levels.
