Nashua, NH (August 15, 2000) - PCI Mezzanine Cards (PMC) are a flexible, efficient and low cost means of expanding your system's functionality. Alacron Inc., announces the release of three PMC daughtercards in critical system design areas: processing power, I/O, and memory. The Fast4, FastI/O and the FastMem cards allow system engineers to address real-time DSP/Imaging scalability requirements without redesign. On any computing platform, the performance, power and price of each PMC card makes them a viable alternative for a wide variety of framegrabbing, buffering and DSP applications.

FastI/O PMC Card - Systems designers with specialized I/O requirements can add analog and digital inputs without compromising performance. Input options include digital (RS422, LVDS or PECL), 32 data bits with control and clock, or NTSC/PAL/SECAM, or three asynchronous RS-170 inputs or one RGB input. The Fast I/O provides a 32-bit wide side-band bus connection to facilitate fast data transfers to and from the host board.
