The Allround-Line continues to satisfy the strictest demands while increasing performance capabilities through the new testControl II electronics. The testControl II measurement and control electronics feature integrated adaptive control with automatic setting of all control parameters, sophisticated strain rate control and online compensation for changes in specimen properties.

A real advantage for raw materials producers performing repetitive tests is the capability of systems in the Allround-Line to store and retrieve complete toolset data. Automatic positioning and recall of safety-related distances speed changeover from one test setup to another, such as from tensile to flexure.

Entire test procedures can be performed independently of the PC via the display-equipped remote control unit. The machine can also be controlled directly through the electronics or via the testXpert^® II software.

Key design criteria include maximum stiffness and precise crosshead guidance. Height adjustable test areas may be used to adapt the test environment to individual needs in support of individual applications.

Mechanical modularity offers additional benefits to research facilities that need to test a wide range of specimens under varying conditions.

With the new Allround-Line Zwick designed a flexible plug and slot system that allows specimen grips and test fixtures to be changed whenever required, enabling a single system to address a wide range of tests.

User protection is also assured. Electronics and mechanical safety components combine with the software-based safety system to ensure maximum protection for the user, specimen, test data and testing system.
