With the goal of increasing the span between outages and eliminating emergency outages, the need for outage planning, efficient outage execution and outage cost reduction cannot be over emphasized.
ALSTOM offers its Outage Kit Program that is designed to assist power plant management in these important areas.
An ALSTOM Outage Kit is a pre-packaged collection of parts and components that have been identified as potentially necessary to repair a piece of equipment on site.
Parts are consolidated at an ALSTOM Regional Service Center and arrive at the plant prior to the outage. Parts are pulled from the kit as needed to conduct the repair. The unused parts are returned to the Regional Service Center with the customer paying only for what was used.
