Existing fuel pipe system evaluation for component or system replacement
Alstom can supply many different levels of support and service to evaluate your fuel pipe system. Our engineering and design services can review your existing system, review problems, and develop solutions to ensure trouble free operation. Our Technical Service Engineers can walk the system down with you, identifying problems and components that need replacement. We can
develop a detailed survey of components, measuring elbow wall thickness to determine remaining life. Our Technical Service Engineers can also develop a detailed report, identifying and prioritizing problems and issues that need to be addressed.
Fuel Pipe Systems on non-Alstom units
Alstom offers a full range of material replacements and services on units originally built by Babcock and Wilcox, Foster Wheeler, Babcock Power, and other OEM unit providers. Our engineering staff can develop solutions to specific operational and maintenance issues. Our Field Service Engineers can assist before, during, or post outage with the goal of ensuring
trouble free system operations. Alstom offers direct replacement, and upgrades for your fuel pipe system to ensure trouble free operation.
To ensure accurate fit-up, Alstom employs several methods to measure existing components. These include utilizing a coordinate-measuring machine to measure individual components, and laser scanning technology to collect accurate system dimensions. These measurement systems ensure components will fit without problems.
