Multiple Shells Sludge Heat Exchangers

Series "AMS" Sludge-To-Sludge & Water-To-Sludge Heat Exchangers are custom built to your requirements in the concentric tube counter-flow style. This design is the gold standard for the industry, proven to be the most efficient design available.

Sludge must be heated to more than 130°F and transferred to a thermophilic digester. The sludge is then cooled before being pumped to a conventional mesophilic (less than 120°F) digester. Series "AMS" heat exchanger is used to accomplish both tasks - removing heat from the thermophilic transfer sludge before it goes to the mesophilic digester and using the recovered heat to preheat raw sludge for the thermophilic digester.
