MILITARY TYPE, 5 Watt, High Reliability Zener Diodes in a Hermetically sealed glass package now from AMS.

AMS announces development of the 5 Watt zener diode family in hermetically sealed glass package. 1N4954 thru 1N4996, Voltages from 6.8 to 390 Volts; the tolerance is 5%.

These zeners are ideally suited for military, space, and commercial applications; the package is a glass DO-35 type.

Zener diode applications are numerous, but they all involve some sort of voltage regulation, clipping, clamping,or limiting. More Information...
