Multicure The Multicure UV Conveyor System was designed to cure substrates that are very heat sensitive but require large dosages of UV energy to cross link the UV chemistry. It is available in standard curing widths with Fusion electrode-less or conventional mercury arc lamp technology. As the parts move along the conveyor, the UV light source is "shuttled" over the substrate with alternate exposure and cool down cycles. The final result is that the substrate receives more UV energy with a reduction in peak temperature when compared to conventional conveyor processes. The Multicure is also a proven solution for UV conformal coating of heat sensitive circuit boards. With the ability to edge handle PCBs and provide digital speed readout, the Multicure can be integrated into your existing production line. The Multicure addresses a wide range of heat sensitive applications, including silicone potting, sealing and gasketing, a variety of medical, ophthalmic and orthodontic plastic bonding and sealing, and thin film/sensitive substrates.
