Model DAQ6103 is one of many analog detectors Cougar offers. This model operates from 0.1-6.0 GHz guaranteed, and from 0.1-8.0 GHz, typical. This detector comes standard in the 0.250-in.sq. hermetic surface mount package. The DAQ6103 produces an analog output voltage as a function of input RF power. Average power detection is below –13 dBm and peak power detection is above –10 dBm (power at the diode). Power Flatness is ±0.5 dB typical and temperature stability is ±0.25 dB typical. The overall typical power range is –10 to +25 dBm, sensitivity is 120mV, VSWR is low at 1.2:1, and pulse response varies from 1.5 to 3.0 microseconds depending on the input power, +5 to +25 dBm. These specifications were measured in a 50-ohm system at ±5.0 Vdc. Other packages such as the TO-8 are available.
