Andon Electronics has developed the largest line of Image Sensor Sockets in the industry. We have sockets for Kodak, Hammamatsu, Sony, NEC, Marconi, Philips, Texas Instruments, Atmel, Toshiba, and all other image sensors.

The chief advantage of using Andon Electronics sockets is that the sensor is plugged into the socket after the PCB is assembled with the socket and the other components. This eliminates ESD problems as well as temperature, cleaning and handling problems.

Andon Electronics can supply any height socket terminal in any configuration. Terminals are available in thru-hole and SMD. Sockets are available to convert leaded sensors for SMD applications. Insulation is black FR-4 laminate to reduce glare and to match CTE of your motherboard.
