* Airflex Quick Release Valves provide rapid evacuation of pressurized air from pneumatic devices. They provide an exhaust port at the device rather than at the end of a long supply line and/or control component. Exhaust is rapid and positive as soon as there is a pressure drop in the supply line. Mufflers are available to reduce exhaust noise.

* Pneumatic in-line, three-way valve designed to automatically close upon pressurization and open to exhaust when a pressure drop occurs in the supply line. * Available from 3/8 inch to 1 inch.

* Provides an exhaust port at the device rather than at the end of a long supply line and/or control component. * The result is a reduction in lag time between the signal and response. * Benefits include faster cycle time, reduction or elimination of clutch and brake overlap, and reduced wear of drive components. * Units are identified by the American National Pipe Thread on the cylinder port. * The quick release valves utilize either a diaphragm or plunger in their design. * Mufflers are available to reduce exhaust noise.
