A capacitance sensor is embedded into the flange sensor.
Once installed, the control unit is tuned to the conditions of the filled pipe. As a pipe begins to run dry, capacitance field changes occurs. This initiates the alarm to alert personnel or shut down pumps.
This eliminates costly downtime and repair costs for pump and process applications.
