ARON ALPHA PRIMERS (including PP Primer and EN Primer) are used to ensure cure on inactive surfaces such as polyolefins like polyethylene (LDPE, HDPE), polypropylene (PP) and thermoplastic rubber materials. Depending on the material, cyanoacrylate bond strengths up to 20 times the unprimed bond strength can be achieved.
Primers can be dip coated, brush or cloth applied or automatically dispensed from a valve onto the low surface energy substrate prior to bonding with cyanoacrylate adhesive.
