The problems of setting a rectangular set on a six
wide kiln car, at a rate of 36,000 Kingsize units per
hour, and with very limited space were
successfully solved (and on time) with an ASI Air
Bag Setting System at the Acme Brick – Eureka
Plant, located in Clarksville, Arkansas.

ASI's engineers and Acme Eureka personnel
looked at both Robotic and Air Bag Systems and
came to the conclusion that the Air Bag Setting
System would handle the rate by setting on four
cars at a time and fit into the limited space in the
existing plant

Two unique Air Bag Heads were utilized to set on
the four kiln cars at one time. The heads are
unique in that they develop a different pattern in
both directions plus automatically set the inset
pattern on the last two layers of the pattern
