The ACNV4506, inteligent power module and gate drive device contains a GaAsP LED optically coupled to an integrated high gain photo detector. Minimized propagation delay between devices makes these optocouplers excellent s for improving inverter efficiency through reduced switching dead time. Specifications and performance plots are given for typical IPM applications.
The ACNV4506, inteligent power module and gate drive improves CMR performance by using a detector IC with an optically transparent Faraday shield, which diverts the capacitively coupled current away from the sensitive IC circuitry.
