The Qpod enables unique applications of fiber optic spectroscopy which historically have not been feasible with a microspectrometer such as:

Protein thermodynamics
Fluorophore characterization
Enzyme kinetics
On-line thermocycling of biological particles

For these and other applications temperature control is critical to repeatible and thorough measurements. The Qpod is available in three configurations: Absorbance, Fluroescence or Combination Absorbance flouresence. The Qpod is also available with a number of accessories such as filter holders and polarizers.
