Excellent for dispensing non-flammable viscous liquids. Super rugged cast iron gate valves have a large, nearly straight bore with an oval discharge opening angled at 45-60º for fast flow of thick liquids without splashing. The machined and lapped brass faceplate provides smooth operation and a perfect seal. Glossy black lacquer finish.
Standard Gate Valve has short formed-steel handle.
Long Handle Gate Valve has long cast iron handle for extra leverage and easier, more precise operation.
Lock Nut Gate Valve has lock nut and gasket. Gasket and nut tighten against drum, which permits the valve to be turned to any desired direction for draining without breaking the seal.
Self Closing Valve is available in 2" and 3/4" NPT sizes.
ML1 - optional padlock provides optimum security.
SEL8-PTRD - optional 8" pull tight seal provides tamper evident security. Seal needs to be cut to be removed.
NOTE: These gate valves are designed for liquids that have a minimum viscosity of 2,000 cPs.
