BIOMIXER Aeration & Mixing System by S&L is a patented, award-winning system that integrates the efficiency of fine bubbles diffusion with tremendous mixing capability in a single pre-engineered apparatus.

What makes BIOMIXER unique are the slowly rotating 14' to 22' diameter fine bubble diffuser blades with EPDM membranes. Wastewater shears off the bubbles as soon as they start to exit from the diffusers. This creates even finer bubbles, and thus better aeration efficiency. The slowly rotating diffusers create a highly efficient "air lift pump" with the power to provide outstanding mixing of the basin. Diffuser fouling is virtually eliminated because biomass is sheared off as blades rotate and membranes flex in the turbulent wastewater.

Retraction allows the diffusers to be raised above the surface for inspection and maintenance without having to drain the basin. This feature makes the BIOMIXER system easily accessible for maintenance.
