Bud Industries Inc., a leading manufacturer of electronic enclosures, has announced the availability of nine additional enclosure sizes to the twenty-five present sizes in the PN-Series NEMA 4X plastic product line. The nine new enclosures also have a recess in the cover for labels, decals, nameplates, keypads, and etc. The nine recessed-cover product part numbers are signified by a PNR prefix. These low-cost enclosures are designed and constructed to conform to NEMA 4X and IEC529 IP65 requirements and have been tested and certified to UL508 4X ratings in both the USA and Canada.

These boxes are ideal for PCB enclosures, junction boxes, and any other application where internal electronics need protection from wet, dirty and/or corrosive environments.

In response to customer requests, the new sizes will allow for more product needs to be met with a standard product. The new product line of PNR-Series enclosures have outside dimensions ranging from 3.94" L x 3.94" W x 2.17" H (100 mm x 100 mm x 55.12 mm) up to 7.87" L x 5.91" W x 2.95" H (200 mm x 150.11mm x 74.93 mm).

Each new size can be ordered in three different styles.

·Style 1 – Solid body and cover in light gray Polycarbonate material

·Style 2 – Solid body and clear cover in Polycarbonate material

·Style 3 – Solid body and cover in dark gray ABS material

Style 1 and Style 2 enclosures are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, however Style 3 is intended for indoor use only. Modification services are available by contacting the factory.

Same Day Shipment. The PNR-Series enclosures are priced, sold and packaged in quantities of one. Unlike products available from competitive enclosure manufacturers, these enclosures are available in stock for same day shipment from distribution. The PNR Series of enclosures is priced as low as $7.75.
