The Best Balance 2000 is a single-plane balancing machine for balancing tool and tool holder assemblies used in the high-speed cutting operations.
The Best Balance 2000 indicates the correction necessary to minimize the negative effects of unbalance on the spindle bearings, and considers both static and dynamic unbalanced components. The Best Balance 2000's user-friendly menu-driven control makes it easy for even the minimally experience operator to easily verify and effectively correct the unbalance in the tool and tool holder assembly.
The Best Balance 2000 offers numerous different modes of correction, including mass displacement, correction by eccentric rings, set screws, the addition of masses, or by drilling.
The operator can select one of the balancing classes specified in ISO 1940 such as G1, G2 .5, G6.3, and G16. The display on the Best Balance 2000 will indicate whether the tool is balanced to tolerance within the selected G class, or during the verification phase, it will indicate the maximum RPM permissible for each G class.
With repeatability of less than 0.5 gmm the Best Balance 2000 provides high accuracy insuring a quality product. Adapters are available for most HSK and ISO tooling, or custom adapters can be supplied upon request.
The Best Balance 2000 is manufactured to be used on the shop floor and requires no special foundation. The solid granite base insurers high precision accuracy from the machine. The interlocked LEXAN guard provides operator protection.
The Best Balance 2000 can memorize up to 30 tables of tooling parameters in the machine control to provide quick and efficient balancing. The operator can connect a printer to the Best Balance 2000 in order to print verification reports.
