Balluff's BOS 18E photoelectric sensor series have gun-drilled, solid stainless steel enclosures and have proven to be workhorses in the most demanding of manufacturing conditions. The 18E was designed for washdown situations like food production or where caustic substances (lactic, citric, hydrochloric or sulfuric acids) may corrode or melt photoelectric sensor enclosures and/or lenses.
