In addition to its broad range of standard products, Bishop-Wisecarver also specializes in custom-designed products to meet customers' specifications. From slight modifications such as special grease requirements, to complete ground-up system designs using DualVee components or linear guides, our applications engineers are ready to assist you in designing the best possible system for your individual application.
Examples of Custom Engineered Solutions:
- Long lengths: Belt and chain driven LoPro linear actuators have been fabricated up to 80 feet. Non-actuated systems such as UtiliTrak and DualVee can also be provided to accommodate virtually unlimited length.
- Hole drilling: Special locations and patterns can be provided with short lead times.
- Custom DualVee Wheel Options: We frequently get requests for custom grease for high/low temperature, wash down environments, or food applications, or we can provide wheels completely dry for applications like medical devices where the possibility of contamination is an issue. We can accommodate custom bearing or seal materials, single row bearings (vs. our standard double row), or even custom vee other than our typical DualVee 90 degree design. Specialty bearings to fit most any specification are possible.
