Boston Gear is pleased to announce the launch of the NEW Stainless Steel 700 Series worm gear speed reducer product offering. Blending the trusted 700 Series worm gearing with an innovative exterior design, the NEW Stainless Steel 700 Series provides the trusted performance your customers have come to expect from Boston Gear Speed Reducers!

The housing design of the NEW Stainless Steel 700 Series incorporates key features critical to the food processing industry to maintain optimal performance in the toughest caustic environments. These features include:

• Rounded housing that eliminates all flat surfaces,
• Covers for all counter-bored holes, including motor, flange, base, and inset fill and drain holes,
• Laser-marked name plate information, ensuring worry-free part identification without indentations on the housing.

These features provide smooth, uninterrupted surfaces preventing foreign matter adherence and fluid accumulation on the gearbox. The NEW Stainless Steel 700 series has also been approved to carry the coveted NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) certification.

The new Stainless Steel 700 Series maintains the same critical dimensions as its trusted cast iron sister series and utilizes the same gearing and shafts for easy field retrofitting and backwards compatibility.
