Bunting's versatile FF Series Drawer Magnets are made in a variety of configurations for extruders, injection molding, and blow molding equipment. A clear polycarbonate drawer front permits monitoring of resin flow and tramp iron accumulation. The FF Series Drawer Magnets are designed with a 5-to-1 safety factor and can support symmetrical compression loads of 10,000 pounds. They are a reliable, economical way to extract ferrous debris from virgin or regrind product and are designed for superior reach-out to capture contaminants and for high-energy holding power to prevent wipe-off. FF Series Magnets are available with Alnico, Ceramic, and Rare Earth magnets, with purge hoppers and dump tube options, and with self-cleaning modules. They come in four construction grades, including food and sanitary, and offer constant protection with minimal maintenance and maximum safety year after year. Bunting provides a lifetime warranty on the magnetic strength of its permanent magnets.

Many plastics processors are turning to smaller, more portable dryers on loading systems. These dry resins at a central point and then convey small amounts to the molding machines. In response to this, Bunting has developed two new compact FFV Series Drawer Magnets. Like the FF Series, these smaller FFV Magnets mount on the throats of processing machines. They are manufactured to withstand pressures up to 15 in-hg and are equipped with an O-ring seal at the drawer front to prevent air leaks. Top and bottom flanges are built to customer specifications.

Bunting makes other magnetic metal separation equipment designed for plastics processing, such as Plate, Grate, and In-Line Magnets for processing material in gravity, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. Self-cleaning and stainless steel options are available, and all of this equipment can be ordered in grades from utility to sanitary.
