Bunting® Magnetics Company has introduced Magnetic Coolant Cleaners to its world-renown lineup of equipment. The Bunting® Coolant Cleaner removes ferrous fines from coolant. Base models use permanent ceramic magnetic material, while Rare Earth magnetic rolls are available. Cleaners are suited to applications that mandate clean coolant recovery.

This product is designed for use with surface grinders, gear grinders, honing and lapping machines, broaches, milling and drilling machines, face grinders or oil reclaiming machines. Bunting® provides customers the option of either a smooth-faced or extended-pole roll which can be used when both ferrous and non-ferrous contaminants are present.

"By removing these ferrous materials from the production process, our coolant cleaners help our customers recycle expensive coolant, stated Charles Whitt, Director of Marketing. "Also, our customers avoid costly damage to their equipment. This combination of benefits increases productivity and reduces any safety issues with handling of this material."

This type of Coolant Cleaner decreases operating costs with the effective reuse of cleaned coolant. It allows for a uniform part finish, provides a longer life from tools and grinding wheels, reduces pump and machine wear, lowers coolant replacement costs, and operationally accounts for less down time. Overall, the Bunting® Coolant Cleaner provides pump protection and extends pump life with the metal fines removed.
