Grant Instruments, Cambridge, England has recently acquired the assets of Accsense, Inc. and appointed their existing partner, CAS Data Loggers, Chesterland, Oh as the master distributor for Accsense Systems in North America. The Accsense system utilizes data logging pods with a self healing wireless mesh network to quickly and easily record a wide range of physical properties. - almost anything that can be measured such as temperature, humidity, light, noise, vibration, wind speed, pH, pressure, flow, soil moisture, tank levels, gas concentration. Data is automatically uploaded through a wireless gateway to a centralized, managed server which makes the real-time measurements available online via the world wide web through a standard web browser. The server can also generate alarm messages via email, pager or even voice mail. An optional package provides FDA CFR 21 Part 11 support with secure data storage and corrective action reports.

Accsense's cost-effective, out-of-the-box solution has been successfully to monitor refrigerators, freezers and cryostats in medical and laboratory applications. It has also been used in food processing plants, agricultural establishments, and across a number of industrial applications.

There are a range of different pods available to measure different types of inputs including:

• Temperature with RTD, Thermocouple or Thermistor Sensors
• Voltage - 0-5V
• Current - 4-20 mA
