If you have the need to monitor multiple sensors spread out in a building or plant site, the Eltek Gen-II Telemetry System might be just what you need. The system supports up to 120 transmitter modules with up 250 total channels.
A centralized receiver/data logger captures and stores data from the transmitters for display and retrieval. The transmitter and receiver can be separated by up to 1000 meters depending on environment and repeater modules allow this distance to be extended. The receiver can be connected directly to a PC, to an Ethernet network with an adapter, or to a modem. The standard receiver can store 250,000 readings which can be expanded to 2 Million readings. Alarm outputs allow notification if one of the transmitters detects an out of limit condition.
Many different types of transmitter modules are available for temperature, humidity, voltage/current, digital state, pulse/events, light level or weatherstations. The transmitters are battery powered and can operate up to 5-10 years on standard AA batteries. There are also models with a built-in display for local monitoring.
A Windows based software program, DARCA, supplied with the system provides for set-up, real time monitoring, data download, analysis, and export to other programs. A special version of called DARCA Secure is available for FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance. DARCA Hertiage is a custom version for museum and other site monitoring applications that require a site based view of the data.
