The Series CCR-39 coaxial switches, a highly versatile family of broadband, multi-throw, latching microwave devices that deliver up to 6-pole, 7-throw performance and offer an indicator option for status feedback for diagnostics.

The CCR-39 6P7T switch is designed for switching multiple microwave signals with a single package. It also helps in reducing switch count when designing matrices, according to Antonio Gallegos, product-marketing engineer.

The characteristic impedance is 50 Ohms. The switches are compact and use the popular connector spacing on a circle with a 1.062-inch (26.97mm) diameter. Each position has an individual actuator mechanism, allowing random position selection.

The CCR-39 comes with a latching actuator rated at 12, 15 or 28 Vdc. The latching feature allows the user to pulse operate the switch, conserving power. The switch remains in the last position selected when the switch is de-energized. Variations include CCR-39 with or without indicator contacts, self-cutoff only, and moisture seal.

Options include TTL drivers with diodes and TTL driver with decoder.

The CCR-39 is also available in elite models that feature a higher operating frequency and temperature range.

The standard CCR-39 switch measures 2.25 x 2.25 x 2.4 inches (57.15 x 57.15 x 60.96 mm) and weighs 6 ounces (170g). The TTL model measures 3.05 inches (77.47mm) in height.
