CIMCOOL® CIMTECH® 46C Metalworking Fluid Receives Boeing Approval for Aerospace Manufacturing.

CIMCOOL® Global Industrial Fluids, a technology leader, has once again met the strict performance and chemical requirements of the aerospace manufacturing industry with the introduction of their new metalworking fluid, CIMTECH® 46C.

Especially well-suited for carbide grinding applications where cobalt leaching is a major consideration and recommended for moderate duty grinding of hard metals such as cobalt, stellite and titanium alloys, including chrome plated and HVOF Thermal Spray Coating components. CIMTECH® 46C is very clean, easily maintained, and provides exceptional clarity and foam control. Depletion resistant, it reduces costs by minimizing the amount of concentrate required. Most importantly, it contains a unique proprietary combination of corrosion inhibitors that protect ferrous machine tool components while minimizing dissolved cobalt in the solution providing superior cobalt corrosion prevention.

In addition CIMTECH® 46C is pleasant to use, exceptionally good bacteria and mold control means no offensive odors caused by excessive bacteria. It is low misting and does not smoke or leave a slippery, oily film on parts, machines or surrounding areas. It is a clear mix and emulsifies very little tramp oil, which allows for easy removal by oil-skimmers.

CIMCOOL® CIMTECH® 46C Metalworking Fluid received BOEING approval for under BAC 5008REVr - Areas 5 and 6, including titanium alloys. The approval number is BOEING PSD 6-124.
