The CMOS 1421 device features Active Reset™ CMOS technology providing low noise and high sensitivity. The architecture is a 2048 element linear array with 7 µm pixels. This dual output sensor offers an 80MHz data rate and 15000x anti-blooming protection. Its 12-bit output provides a maximum line rate of 38.7K lines/sec.

This device is ideal for low-light-level applications when low noise and high sensitivity is critical. This 2k linear CMOS sensor is featured in the Fairchild Imaging Owl line scan camera for industrial inspection and machine vision applications.
