  • No power supply required
  • Ergonomically designed to fit in the hand
  • Compact design
  • Oscilloscope and data logging software included
  • Software Drivers & examples included

Pico low cost oscilloscope units require no external power supplies making them ideal for portability when using a laptop computer.

PicoScope oscilloscopes are supplied with PicoScope software that provides oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer and multimeter functions. PicoScope software makes full use of your PC's processing capabilities allowing you to view real-time signals, zoom in on your signal, and save and print captured waveforms. Also supplied is PicoLog data acquisition software that transforms your PC into a high-speed data logger.

Pico PS 2104

The PS 2104 and PS 2105 are single channel hand held PC based oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and multimeter.   Utilizing fast 480 Mb/s transfer rate of USB 2.0 these units are supplied with power from your computer.

  • 1 Channel
  • 50 MS/s sampling rate
  • 1 GS/s repetitive signals
  • 10 MHz bandwidth
  • 8,000 sample buffer memory
  • No power supply required
  • USB 2.0 connection for fast screen updates Pico PS 2105These units provide all the functionality of conventional scopes at a fraction of the price.  The small size of PicoScope handheld oscilloscopes makes them ideal for portable use, while still including the powerful features normally found in larger oscilloscopes. The PicoScope 2105 has a 100 megasample per second real-time sampling rate. For repetitive signals the sampling rate can be increased to 2 gigasamples per second using digital equivalent-time sampling. These high sampling rates combined with a 24,000 sample buffer memory and 25 MHz analogue bandwidth make the PicoScope 2105 suitable for a wide range of trouble-shooting tasks on both analogue and digital circuits. The entry-level PicoScope 2104 is also available for use in less demanding applications.

Using your PicoScope handheld oscilloscope could not be easier: plug-and-play technology allows you to simply plug the oscilloscope into a USB port and start using it straight away. No need for power supplies, additional oscilloscope probes or complex installation procedures.

Designed for single-handed operation, the oscilloscope can be controlled using a button located on the top of the scope. Press the button to start the oscilloscope; the button will flash green to indicate the scope is running. A beam of light will illuminate the tip of the scope so you can clearly see the area being probed. Once you've captured your signal, press the button again. The button will glow red to indicate the scope has stopped.

To make your oscilloscope even easier to use you can activate PicoScope's powerful autosetup function by simply holding down the button. The autosetup function will automatically set up the timebase and trigger configuration to display the signal that PicoScope finds on the scope's input.PicoScope software is supplied free with all Pico oscilloscopes. PicoScope software allows you to view real-time signals, zoom in on your signal, and save and print captured waveforms. The user-friendly controls and familiar Windows graphical interface ensures that using PicoScope is both fast and easy. PicoScope includes various features designed to reduce the time you need to set up and use your oscilloscope: along with over 30 automated measurements PicoScope also features an auto setup function. The auto setup function can be used to automatically set up the timebase, channels and trigger configuration to display any signals that PicoScope finds on the oscilloscope's inputs. You can also customize PicoScope by adding your own 'test menus'. These menus can load reference waveforms or instrument settings, and they can display documents that give an explanation of the waveform, or details on how to perform the required tests. The PicoScope software is regularly updated and all updates can be downloaded for free.  For update notifications sign up for the monthly newsletter which also includes new product announcements and PicoScope user tips. Also supplied is PicoLog data acquisition software that transforms your PC scope into a high-speed data logger.
