CTI Electronics introduces the newest addition to its NEMA 4 Sealed Control family, the AP2000 Series. This drift-free pointing device is mouse-port compatible and is perfect for point and click, drop down menu and icon selection applications.

A backlit version is also available that provides 10 levels of backlight intensity adjustment, controlled from the AP2000, without the need for external power sources. A simple connection to the host computer is all that is required for complete operation.

The AP2000 Series measures only 1.8" X 1.9" and will fit into many existing controls panel designs. The horizontal symmetry of the AP2000 allows application flexibility to the OE designer.

The NEMA 4 rated AP2000 ArrowMouse™ is built of custom molded silicon keys (in gray or black) with 2mm travel and excellent tactile feedback. Each key has hard gold plated contacts rated at 10Mm operations for reliability and long life. Key legends are fused into each key for long life and abrasion resistance. Custom key legends and colors are available in OEM quantities.

For superior reliability, gold plated interconnects are used for the mouse cable connection.

The CTI Electronics AP2000 ArrowMouse™ is suitable for use in Medical Technology, Industrial Control, Marine Navigation Systems, "In-Fleet" Computer and Communications Systems and many other applications. Evenly spaced mounting holes, rugged construction, and an integral sealing gasket provide for easy integration of this keyboard in any application where space is limited, and full and reliable mouse functionality is required.
