Melles Griot offers a wide variety of power and energy meters. The integrated power meter system, using thermopile technology, has a flat response from 200 nm to 20 µm, and can measure output power from a few µW to 2 W. It is ideal for cw and rapidly pulsed laser beams.

The modular power meter system is based around common controller units and a plethora of calibrated, interchangeable thermopile, semiconductor, and pyroelectric detector heads with sensitivity from a few picowatts to 50 watts. Finally, Melles Griot offers two handheld power meters, one for direct beams and one for fiber optic output, which can slip into a shirt pocket.
