Calmont Wire and Cable achieves new levels of miniaturization of wire and cable for the medical industry, resulting in significant advantages for implantable devices and applications.
Our capability to insulate a conductor of 0.002" in diameter with 1.5 mils of Teflon, results in an insulated ultraflexible wire no larger than 0.005" in diameter. Calmont manufactures multiples of these individual conductors into some the smallest cables available today.
Calmont offers cables in a broad variety of conductor and insulation materials including non-electrical components such as extruded lumens, fiberoptics, tubing and strength members. Manufacturing tolerances are maintained through the latest in laser gauging and digital micrometer measuring devices, coupled with statistical process methods.
