With four distinct contact configurations and four differential ranks, the M series thermal controllers can be tailored to operate in many situations that other thermostats cannot. These thermostats were developed as a small, inexpensive, high performance bimetal thermostat which can be used as a controller. The M series thermostats use a sharp, semi-permanent snap spring with a flat non-distorting bimetal. Two bimetals are used for increased sensitivity.
Applications: Heating appliances, blanket heaters, freeze protection, sensors, medical applications.
