Corrosion Coupons

Test Coupons are available in a variety of alloys and styles to suite any corrosion or scale monitoring application.

Coupons are shipped in a corrosion resistant envelope and bag using a Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) providing up to 1 year of protection of the coupons when stored under proper environmental conditions.

Styles include: Flat and Cylindrical for either corrosion or scale monitoring.

Coupon Testing Services

Once coupons have been exposed in your system for the determined period of time, send them back to Metal Samples where a complete analysis of the weight loss will determine the mils per year (MPY) corrosion rate. Optionally a Pit Depth Analysis can be performed.
