The Model 1540E plunger pump is designed to work in wet environments and features special moisture resistant components to enhance pump life. These special features include a durable blue 2 mil epoxy paint treatment on the crankcase, rear cover and bearing covers and a special Liquid Gasket between the crankcase and manifold to seal out moisture. Special high-strength connecting rods, durable stainless steel plunger rods, heavy-duty, ten-bolt, forge brass manifold and special blend Hi-Pressure Seals complete this pump to deliver near maintenance-free operation and exceptional life.
